Fabrics and materials
The show rug is made from high-tensile 600D polyester with both an elegant and timeless diamond stitching. This makes the blanket incredibly tear-resistant and prevents shavings from sticking to it. To avoid any pressure on the shoulder and withers, the neck of the show rug is made from our popular artificial sheepskin. Aside from its elegant appearance, the artificial sheepskin is also much more comfortable. For example, when the horse is eating, the blanket will not pressure the chest. The blanket is filled with 160 g of padding fibers, which have the same performance as down but do not absorb odors. To prevent rubbing marks, the blanket is lined with our artificial rabbit fur. This fabric is extremely soft and creates a shiny effect on the horse's coat. In addition, the artificial rabbit fur creates tiny air pockets. These pockets trap and retain the horse's body heat, thus creating an additional insulating layer. The combination of these materials creates a very breathable blanket with a high warmth-to-weight ratio.

Shape and size
The show rug has an anatomical shape and thanks to the artificial rabbit fur, you do not have to worry about the position of the blanket as it always adjusts itself. For better pressure distribution, the front flaps close like a Z, and the front fastenings are easily adjustable for a better fit. The surcingles are also adjustable and detachable. Due to the flexibility of the show rug, it can be used for multiple purposes and be combined with other Kentucky blankets.

The clips are made of stainless steel and therefore do not rust. The straps of the show rug are made from the same webbing as safety belts, making them very strong. The brass finish of the clips and the artificial leather parts give the blanket a very chic look.

Care guide
In addition to the chic look, we found it important to have easy-to-maintain products. That’s why the elastic tail strap is coated with plastic and the blanket is washable. When washed at 30 degrees and without using a dryer, the quality of the materials remains optimal.
